Shark's Cove, 6/01/08

A first-time sighting on this dive was the regal slipper lobster. I found two of them, along with a brown slipper lobster in a fairly well-concealed hole in the cavern wall. Nice dive, with a variety of walls, overhangs, and swim-throughs.

For the second dive, we did the standard entry and followed the wall heading towards Three Tables. On two separate occasions, I came across a rather large scorpionfish, laying on the sandy bottom. Neither one seem to be comfortable with me approaching closely for a picture, but I did manage to capture a few shots. I also found a tiny pipefish in a crevice along the wall, but couldn't manage to capture an in-focus shot of the little guy.
